Axidian has released a new version of Axidian Privilege – a solution for managing privileged user access. Version 3.1 introduces the ability to add tags to resources and customize the message users see when prompted to provide a reason for access. We cover these updates in more detail below.
Resource Tagging
To enhance the efficiency of users and administrators in large IT infrastructures, the new version includes the ability to assign tags to resources.
This update allows you to:
- Simplify the search for target systems in both the User Console (UC) and Management Console (MC);
- Organize resources by categories, types, zones, projects, or other criteria;
- Improve navigation speed when assigning or requesting privileged access.
Tags are displayed in both the user and the administrator consoles and are available for filtering and search.
Customizable Message for Access Reason Prompt
In version 3.1 of Axidian Privilege, administrators can now customize the message displayed to users when they are prompted to provide a reason for accessing a target resource.
This feature supports internal policy requirements and allows for specifying the format of input.
Previously, the message was fixed as “Enter the reason for connection.” Starting with version 3.1, administrators can define any custom message, such as: “Enter the ticket number related to the task on this resource.”
Administrators can predefine what information users must provide when connecting to a specific IT resource. The message is configured within access policies, under the “Sessions” section.
