Axidian took part in SIT Africa 2026, one of the region’s leading technology and cybersecurity events.

Throughout the event, Axidian was represented by Sofiia Aleksandrovskaia, Regional Manager Africa, and Mouadh CHAÂBANI, Senior Presale Engineer, alongside our partner OneticAfrica.

SIT Africa provided a clear view of how cybersecurity priorities are evolving across African organizations.

Access governance and compliance remain central to security strategies

Many organizations across Africa are dealing with the same challenge: security environments are becoming more complex, while regulatory and operational requirements continue to grow.

As infrastructures expand, companies need better visibility into who has access to critical systems, how privileges are managed, and how security controls are enforced across different environments.

This makes access governance, privileged access management, and accountability increasingly important components of cybersecurity programs.

Regional cybersecurity maturity continues to evolve

One of the most noticeable themes at SIT Africa was the growing emphasis on operational resilience.

Organizations are looking beyond individual security products and focusing on how different controls work together in practice. Questions around visibility, auditability, and maintaining control over distributed infrastructures are becoming more common as digital transformation initiatives continue across the region.

These priorities reflect a broader shift toward building security processes that can scale alongside business growth.

Strong regional partnerships support local cybersecurity initiatives

Participating in SIT Africa together with OneticAfrica reflects Axidian’s continued commitment to supporting organizations across African markets through local expertise and regional partnerships.

We would like to thank the OneticAfrica team, the customers who visited us during the event, and the SIT Africa organizers for creating a platform that brings together the people shaping cybersecurity across the continent.
