Axidian at GITEX Africa 2025: A Strategic Step Into Francophone Africa

From 14 to 16 April, Axidian took part in GITEX Africa 2025 — our first major presence at a regional tech event in Morocco. This milestone marks our strong focus on Francophone Africa — a region where companies need flexible, reliable access and security solutions with local support.

We were proud to be present there together with our valued partner OneticAfrica, whose support and coordination were invaluable to the success of this initiative.

Focus: building access security that meets real regional needs

At GITEX Africa, we showcased our complete stack of access control and identity-focused technologies including Axidian Privilege (PAM), Axidian Access (IAM), Axidian CertiFlow (PKI), and Axidian Shield (ITDR) and how they help organizations:

  • Reduce risks related to access misuse
  • Protect mission-critical infrastructure
  • Build scalable, regulation-ready access architectures
  • Go beyond tools and into full-service ecosystems: consulting, deployment, training, and ongoing support

One of our core goals was to connect with customers and partners across French-speaking Africa. We were excited to welcome visitors from across the region including Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, and Ivory Coast and exchange insights with both IT leaders and emerging professionals.

What we learned — and why it matters

This event was more than a showcase. It confirmed two important signals from the market:

  • Established enterprises in Francophone Africa are actively searching for full-cycle identity-focused solutions to strengthen and modernize their infrastructure.
  • Young professionals and recent graduates see identity security as a growing field and GITEX Africa became an opportunity for them to engage directly with technology vendors like Axidian.

We were also pleased to have Maher Kachkach, our first local Axidian representative, on-site with us in Morocco. His presence allowed for deeper regional conversations.

What’s next?

GITEX Africa 2025 was the beginning of a deeper journey into Francophone Africa. We’re grateful to everyone who visited our stand, shared their time and insights, and contributed to the energy of the event. Special thanks go to our partner OneticAfrica and the GITEX organizers for their exceptional collaboration and support throughout.

We look forward to what’s next — and if you want to follow our updates, events, and regional work, we invite you to connect with us on LinkedIn. Let’s stay in touch.
