India’s cybersecurity market is evolving quickly. According to the India Cyber Threat Report 2026 by Seqrite, the country recorded more than 265 million cyberattacks in 2025, highlighting how rapidly risks are growing alongside digital transformation.

Organizations are dealing with stricter compliance requirements, growing volumes of sensitive data, and increasingly complex IT environments. At the same time, many companies are realizing that deploying security tools is only part of the challenge — ensuring they are properly adopted and managed is just as important.

In this context, Axidian has partnered with Systech, a value-added distributor with more than 17 years of experience delivering cybersecurity and data protection solutions across India.

Through its strong reseller network and long-standing relationships in sectors such as BFSI, government, education, and enterprise, Systech helps organizations navigate both technical and operational security challenges.

To better understand how cybersecurity expectations are changing in India, we spoke with Sakshi Upadhyay, Technical Support Engineer at Systech, about security adoption, compliance-driven demand, gaps between tools and real-world usage, and the opportunities this partnership brings to the Indian market.

Could you briefly introduce Systech and what defines your approach as a value-added distributor?

Systech is a value-added distributor of Cybersecurity & Data protection solutions for over 17 years in India. We have a strong reseller network and trusted relationships across BFSI, education and enterprise sectors.

What defines our approach is that we don’t just distribute products we make sure they are implemented, adopted and supported throughout. We help organizations get the full value from their investment in Cybersecurity and Data protection solutions.

Our company focus is on being a long-term partner who simplifies complex threats and delivers end-to-end accountability.

Which industries in India are most active in adopting cybersecurity solutions?

Systech works closely with the Banking, Finance and Insurance sector.  We have long-term clients in the banking sector, government, Education and large Enterprises. Banks, financial institutions and Insurance companies are especially active because they are governed by RBI, SEBI & IRDA to follow strict compliance norms.

To meet these requirements, they use solutions like:

  • Managed File Transfer – to move data securely
  • Data Loss Prevention – to stop data leaks
  • Privileged Access Management – to control who can access sensitive systems
  • File Integrity Monitoring – to detect unauthorized changes

We are also seeing growing interest from the Education sector, thanks to our EdTech solutions focused on classroom management and AI-based learning.

In short, wherever there is sensitive data and compliance pressure, Systech is already present and actively serving those industries.

Do you see gaps between security tools and how they are actually used in real environments?

Yes, we see clear gaps between security tools and how they are used in real environments. Many companies buy advanced tools but don’t get the full benefit because:

  • Staff don’t have enough skills to use all features
  • Tools are not set up correctly
  • There is little or no ongoing monitoring

To close these gaps, we carefully review each customer’s setup and provide training and workshops. This helps teams use the tools properly and strengthen their overall security.

4. What do customers expect today from cybersecurity vendors that they didn’t a few years ago?

A few years ago, customers mainly wanted cybersecurity vendors to deliver products. Today, they expect much more.

They look for:

  • Ongoing guidance — vendors who keep up with fast-changing threats, not just one-time solutions
  • Clear communication — simple explanations of complex risks so they can make confident decisions
  • Flexible protection — solutions that adapt as new threats appear
  • Full support — accountability from the first assessment to deployment and ongoing care

In short, customers now expect a true partner who helps them stay secure every step of the way.

What opportunities do you see for this partnership in the Indian market?

We see strong opportunities with Axidian in India. Identity and access management is a fast-growing need here, driven by new data protection and cybersecurity rules.

With Axidian’s technology and our local reach through direct offices, reseller network and long-standing client relationships — we can quickly bring solutions to key sectors like BFSI and Mid & Large Enterprises.

Systech along with Axidian can deliver end-to-end support and help Indian organizations strengthen compliance, reduce risks and build confidence in their security.

Where Systech and Axidian create value together

The conversation with Systech highlights an important shift in Indian cybersecurity. Many organizations have already invested in security platforms. The bigger challenge now is making those systems work effectively in day-to-day operations and evolving them as risks and compliance demands change.

This is where the partnership between Systech and Axidian creates strong value for the market. By combining Systech’s local expertise, reseller ecosystem, and customer relationships with Axidian’s technologies for identity and privileged access management, organizations can take a more structured approach to controlling access and protecting critical systems.

Solutions such as Axidian Access help organizations centralize authentication and strengthen identity management, while Axidian Privilege provides visibility and control over privileged accounts and sensitive access. Together, these solutions help companies improve compliance, reduce operational risks, and build more resilient security environments.

We are glad to partner with Systech and look forward to growing this collaboration further across the Indian market.
