India’s cybersecurity leaders are entering a phase where identity risks, AI-driven threats, and operational complexity intersect. At the 7th Annual India CISO Summit & Awards 2025 in Mumbai, Axidian joined CISOs, IT heads, and security executives to discuss how authentication, privileged access, and early threat detection must evolve.

The event proved highly interactive, highlighted by Kirill Bondarenko’s active presence on stage and participation in the panel “Autonomous Cyber AI and ML – Revolutionizing Cyber Defence.

Shifting security priorities in the Indian market

Indian enterprises are expanding their digital environments faster than their security teams can standardize them. That dynamic came up repeatedly in conversations throughout the summit:

  • Environments are a mix of legacy systems and new cloud platforms.
  • Privileged access keeps growing as infrastructures scale.
  • AI tools are adding both efficiency and risk.

Instead of broad strategic themes, CISOs were focused on day-to-day questions: how to bring consistency to authentication, how to reduce manual work around privileged accounts, and how to spot unusual activity sooner.

High engagement and direct dialogue with India’s security leaders

Although the summit was compact, it drew exactly the people making security decisions in India: CISOs, heads of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity directors, and technical leads responsible for implementing controls.

Throughout the day, the organizers kept inviting Kirill Bondarenko, APAC Sales Director at Axidian, to join multiple stage activities — from award ceremonies to impromptu segments.

A key highlight was Kirill’s participation in the panel “Autonomous Cyber AI and ML – Revolutionizing Cyber Defence.”

The discussion explored:

  • How AI is reshaping defensive strategies
  • Why attacks are becoming more sophisticated
  • Which risks emerge when AI tools become commonplace
  • How enterprises can maintain control over authentication, privileged accounts, and user behavior in this new environment

The format was informal and conversational, which helped surface concrete challenges rather than theoretical ones.

Why partnerships were central to this event

For India, the effectiveness of a security solution is tied not only to features but also to delivery and long-term support. Partners such as BD Software Distribution Pvt Ltd play a critical role in bridging that expectation — from deployment assistance to sector-specific expertise.

These collaborations help accelerate adoption and ensure that tools such as Axidian Access, Axidian Privilege, Axidian CertiFlow and Axidian Shield can be introduced into complex infrastructures without disrupting existing processes.

What’s next

Axidian will keep working with local partners and organisations to improve access control, privileged governance, and identity-centric defence capabilities across the region.

If you’d like to explore how Axidian’s products fit into your environment, our team is available for discussions and demonstrations.
