Axidian hosted a webinar dedicated to one of the main challenges facing financial organizations in Saudi Arabia: implementing the SAMA Cyber Security Framework in a structured and manageable way.

The session was led by Georgy Ovanesyan, CEO at Axidian, and Olesya Druzhinina, Head of Business Development at Axidian, who shared a practical approach to preparing for SAMA compliance without turning every requirement into a separate project.

Compliance is easier when requirements are prioritized

The webinar covered practical questions that organizations encounter when working with the framework.

Participants explored:

  • how to organize and maintain SAMA documentation;
  • which security solutions are essential for compliance and which depend on organizational needs;
  • how to build a cybersecurity calendar that supports ongoing compliance activities;
  • what helps organizations progress toward Cyber Security Maturity Level 3 and above.

The session also looked at how identifying common requirements across different controls can reduce duplicated effort and simplify long-term compliance management.

Identity security supports multiple SAMA requirements

The webinar concluded with an overview of how Axidian identity security solutions help organizations strengthen access control while supporting SAMA compliance.

The speakers discussed the role of Axidian Access for identity and access management, Axidian Privilege for privileged access management, Axidian Shield for identity threat detection and response, and Axidian CertiFlow for PKI and certificate lifecycle management.

Together, these solutions help organizations improve visibility into identities and access while supporting the implementation of security controls required by the SAMA Cyber Security Framework.
