On May 28–29, Axidian took part in FINSEC 2026 in Mumbai, an event organized by the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and dedicated to cybersecurity in financial services.

Axidian was represented by Kirill Bondarenko, Regional Director at Axidian, together with our partner BD Software Distribution Pvt Ltd.

As one of the sectors most affected by regulatory requirements, digital transformation, and evolving cyber threats, financial services continue to place strong emphasis on security, resilience, and operational control.

Access governance remains a key part of financial cybersecurity

Financial institutions manage large numbers of users, systems, applications, and third-party integrations. As environments become more connected, maintaining visibility and control over access becomes increasingly important.

Questions around privileged access, authentication, accountability, and monitoring remain closely tied to broader cybersecurity objectives, particularly in organizations where sensitive customer and financial data must be protected.

Security programs are becoming more operational

One of the themes reflected across the event was the growing focus on implementation.

Organizations are looking at how security controls function across day-to-day operations, how risks are monitored, and how governance processes can scale alongside infrastructure and business growth.

This applies not only to security technologies themselves, but also to the processes surrounding access management, compliance, and incident response.

Thank you to the FINSEC community

We would like to thank the organizers, participants, and everyone we had the chance to meet during FINSEC 2026.

A special thank you to BD Software Distribution Pvt Ltd for representing Axidian at the event and supporting engagement with the local cybersecurity community.
